Patricia J. VanEnwyck, Registered Nurse, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Healthcare Professionals for dedication, achievements and leadership in nursing.

Ms. VanEnwyck’s career in health care has spanned over 15 years, working as a registered nurse from 2009 to 2024. Subsequently, she began exploring new avenues within the field after suffering an injury that prevented her from continuing in her role. Noting that the nursing field can be pretty challenging, Ms. VanEnwyck’s goal has always been to assist her patients and their families, as well as her colleagues, by ensuring their work environment remains safe.

Before her nursing career, Ms. VanEnwyck served as a security forces officer in the U.S. Air Force from 1992 to 1997. Her service took her to various locations, including Italy, Upper Heyford in England, and Fort Dix in New Jersey. During her tenure, Ms. VanEnwyck was honorably discharged. Coming from a military background, she drew tremendous inspiration from them, especially her grandfather, a highly decorated World War II hero, who was always there to support her while coming of age.

Ms. VanEnwyck began after she graduated with a nursing degree from the State University of New York, Brockport, in 2009. Her academic excellence was evident as she graduated in the top 10% of her class. This achievement laid a strong foundation for Ms. VanEnwyck’s professional journey in the nursing field.

Recognizing her accomplishments in the military, Ms. VanEnwyck received numerous military medals, along with the Good Conduct Medal. These accolades reflect her commitment and discipline during her military service, which has also been instrumental in her career success.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Ms. VanEnwyck is deeply committed to her faith and attributes much of her success to God. Her spiritual beliefs have inspired her current pursuits, which include writing two books aimed at helping patients find strength through adversity. These works serve as journals documenting patients’ journeys and are intended to provide solace and guidance. Ms. VanEnwyck is also exploring creative outlets through art and plans to sell her creations online.

Ms. VanEnwyck’s involvement extends beyond personal projects as she actively contributes to civic organizations, such as being a donor for a homeless shelter in Tennessee. Looking ahead, she aims to lead people to Christ by creating more avenues for support and increasing awareness of available resources.

Ms. VanEnwyck’s aspirations include enrolling at Regent’s University for a master’s degree in ministry, where she hopes to integrate her nursing experience into roles as a teacher, healer and guidance counselor. Through these efforts, Ms. VanEnwyck continues to embody the values of compassion and service that have defined her personal and professional life.
