She performed as an OR nurse of head and neck plastics at the same from 2018 to 2021. She began her career as a computer lab technician at Houston Baptist University from 2009 to 2011. At Memorial Hermann Health System, she contributed as a charge nurse from 2013 to 2014, clinical coordinator from 2012 to 2015, OR clinical educator from 2014 to 2018, and registered nurse III from 2011 to 2019.

Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Garcia pursued an education and earned an associate of science in biology and general studies in 2007. She continued her academic efforts at Houston Christian University, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in nursing science in 2011. She concluded her studies at Texas A&M University, graduating with a Master of Business Administration in health and healthcare administration and management in 2023. She holds certifications as a professional in healthcare quality, a perioperative nurse, and a registered nurse.

Beyond her responsibilities within the field, Ms. Garcia has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her professional circles. She volunteered with Project Cure, Faith in Practice, and Operation Smile in India. In addition to her primary vocation, she remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise. She was a member of the Association of Operating Room Nursing and the Competency and Credentialing Institute.

In light of her impressive undertakings, Ms. Garcia has accrued several accolades throughout her career. She received a national nomination for the Top 40 Under 40 for Emerging Leaders and Operating Nurses from the Association of Perioperative Registered Nurses. In the immediate future, she plans to get married in April 2024 and is currently working towards her master’s degree in nursing. She also has aspirations to attend law school and join a law team, with the ultimate goal of specializing in medical healthcare law.
