Ms. Frager has focused her career on emergency care, serving as an emergency room nurse at Incline Village Community Hospital, part of Tahoe Forest Health System, since 2025. In this role, she is responsible for managing patient care in a dynamic, unpredictable environment and responding to a wide range of medical situations. Ms. Frager’s daily responsibilities include receiving patient reports, following physician directives and ensuring that patients and their families are fully informed about diagnoses, treatment plans and discharge procedures.

Before being acquired by Incline Village Community Hospital, Ms. Frager served as an emergency room nurse at Carson Valley Health from 2015 to 2025. During this decade-long tenure, she developed strong relationships with patients and their families, consistently demonstrating empathy and professionalism under pressure. Ms. Frager’s ability to provide high-quality care in urgent situations contributed to her reputation as a reliable and skilled nurse.

From 2014 to 2017, Ms. Frager worked as a registered nurse at Carson Tahoe Healthcare. In this capacity, she honed her clinical skills and deepened her understanding of patient care across various settings. Ms. Frager’s experience during these years laid the foundation for her subsequent specialization in emergency nursing.

Ms. Frager began her health care career as a certified nursing assistant at Renown Health from 2011 to 2014 while attending nursing school full-time. Balancing academic commitments with part-time work, she gained invaluable hands-on experience in patient care and support. Before entering the health care field, Ms. Frager worked in customer service at a bank, where she fulfilled prerequisites for nursing school and developed interpersonal skills that would later benefit her interactions with patients and colleagues.

Playing a pivotal role in shaping her career, Ms. Frager’s academic journey began with an associate degree in general studies from Western Nevada College in 2010 after graduating from Douglas County High School in 2003. She then earned an associate degree in registered nursing at Carrington College in 2013, which provided the clinical foundation for her entry into nursing practice. Moreover, Ms. Frager acquired a Bachelor of Science in registered nursing from Western Governors University in 2019, equipping her with advanced knowledge and leadership skills essential to modern health care environments.

In addition to her academic credentials, Ms. Frager holds several professional certifications that underscore her expertise. She achieved board certification in emergency nurse specialization and completed an emergency nursing pediatric course, further enhancing her ability to deliver specialized care across diverse patient populations.

Throughout her professional journey, Ms. Frager has maintained active membership in industry organizations, including Critical Care Nurses, reflecting her commitment to ongoing professional development and to staying abreast of advancements in the field.

Ms. Frager’s commitment to clear communication and compassionate care has been recognized through her 2024 Daisy Award, one of the highest honors for emergency nurses. She attributes her success to a genuine passion for nursing and a deep-seated enjoyment of helping others. This intrinsic motivation has driven her to excel in challenging environments and continually seek growth opportunities.

Looking ahead, Ms. Frager aspires to become trauma-certified and is actively collaborating with hospital leadership to achieve national recognition as a stroke and cardiac center through adherence to American Heart Association guidelines. This initiative aims to enhance local services for a community with significant needs among elderly residents by enabling on-site stroke treatment rather than requiring transfers to other facilities. Additionally, Ms. Frager is working toward making the hospital pediatric-ready to improve pediatric care offerings.
