Since 2023, he has served as an assistant nurse manager in the pediatric intensive care unit at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center in Baltimore, Maryland, where he oversees all operations within the unit and manages both nurses and support staff. Moreover, he began teaching as an adjunct faculty instructor in the department of nursing at Towson University in Towson, Maryland, in 2025, where he shares his expertise with aspiring nurses.
Before these appointments, Mr. Bryant gained valuable experience as a travel registered nurse in pediatric emergency rooms at Children’s National Hospital from 2022 to 2023 and at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital in 2022. His earlier roles included serving as an emergency room nurse at Malbis Freestanding ER with Infirmary Health between 2020 and 2022 and as a working supervisor registered nurse in the pediatric emergency department at USA Health from 2019 to 2022. During this period, Mr. Bryant also worked as a registered nurse at the Mobile Metro County Jail with NaphCare between 2020 and 2021.
Mr. Bryant’s early career began as a staff registered nurse in the pediatric emergency department at USA Health from 2018 to 2019, following foundational experience as a ward clerk and patient care technician within the department between 2014 and 2018.
Highly educated, Mr. Bryant received an Associate of Science in nursing from Bishop State Community College in 2018, a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of South Alabama in 2019, and a Master of Science in nursing administration and a Master of Business Administration from Grand Canyon University in 2022. His academic achievements have played a pivotal role in shaping his career trajectory.
In addition to his formal education, Mr. Bryant’s commitment to professional development has been further demonstrated by numerous professional credentials, including an emergency medical technician certification, a license as a registered nurse, a pediatric advanced life support certification, an advanced cardiac life support certification and credentials in human subject research.
Throughout his career, Mr. Bryant has been actively involved with several professional organizations that reflect his dedication to advancing nursing leadership and practice. He is a member of the American Organization for Nursing Leadership, the Emergency Nurses Association, the American Association for Men in Nursing, the Maryland Organization of Nurse Leaders and the American Nurses Association.
Looking ahead, Mr. Bryant aims to complete a Doctor of Nursing Practice and further develop his leadership skills within Johns Hopkins Children’s Center or the broader pediatric field. He aspires to advance into roles such as nurse manager or assistant director of nursing while enhancing the pediatric intensive care unit on-site. Mr. Bryant attributes his success thus far to networking, community engagement and consistently stepping beyond his comfort zone to continually drive positive impact in pediatric health care leadership.
