Denise Clark, certified legal nurse consultant at AALNC, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Nurses for dedication, achievements, and leadership in healthcare.
With 41 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Clark has excelled as a certified legal nurse consultant at the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants since 2023. She began her career as a registered nurse in 1982. She has garnered a stellar reputation as a career consultant since 2000. She found success as an emergency room nurse at Sarasota Memorial North Port Emergency Room and Care Center with the Sarasota Memorial Health Care System and as an emergency nurse for 35 years. She worked as a staff nurse at a local doctor’s office and as a pre-operative and post-operative care nurse in 2021.
Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Clark pursued an education at Connecticut State Community College, where she earned an associate of science degree in nursing in 1982. She holds certifications as a registered nurse, a legal nurse consultant, and a trained pre-operative and post-operative care nurse. Beyond her responsibilities within the field, she has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her professional circles. She contributed as a volunteer emergency medical technician for a year.
In addition to her primary vocation, Ms. Clark remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise. She has been a member of the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants since 2023 and was a past member of the Emergency Nurses Association. She credits her remarkable achievements to her unwavering passion for learning, especially in the fast-paced and challenging environment of the emergency room. Her insatiable thirst for knowledge and dedication to staying up-to-date with the latest medical and nursing advancements have undoubtedly played a significant role in her success.
In the immediate future, Ms. Clark has set a goal to expand her practice as a legal nurse consultant. She finds it fulfilling to have the freedom to work from home and have a flexible schedule, rather than being tied to a hospital’s clock-in and clock-out system. This scheduling approach allows her to balance her personal and professional life while still providing quality services to her clients. In five years, she looks forward to partially retiring while continuing to participate in the business.
