She worked as a post-anesthesia care unit coordinator at Mesquite Physicians Hospital from 1988 to 1989.
Ms. Kelly continued her career as a clinical nurse coordinator with Cardiology and Internal Medicine Associates from 1992 to 1994. At Alaris Medical Systems, she contributed as a systems consultant from 1994 to 2004. She garnered a stellar reputation as product sales specialist at Medwave Inc. from 2004 to 2005. Before embarking on her professional path, she pursued an education at Baylor University earning a Bachelor of Science in nursing, graduating with honors in 1991. She holds a medical and clinical assistant certification from Southeast Community College and is registered as a nurse from Bryan Memorial School of Nursing.
Beyond her responsibilities within the field, Ms. Kelly has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her professional circles. She has volunteered with Santa’s Village Berry Hospital at the Methodist Richardson Medical Center since 2014. In addition to her primary vocation, she remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise. She was a member of Sigma Theta Tau, Alpha Chi, the American Hospital Association, and the Association of Healthcare Value Analysis Professionals.
In light of her impressive undertakings, Ms. Kelly has accrued several accolades throughout her career. She received the Great Award for Education and Staff Awareness of the Safety Products to Prevent Needlesticks from Methodist Health System, the Determination, Optimization, and Toughness Award and the 100% Club Award from Alaris Medical Systems. She was named to the Dean’s List at Baylor University.
