Pamela Giles, RN, MSN, an accreditation manager at Mountain West Medical Center, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Nurses for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of nursing.

Leveraging several decades of experience in her chosen field, Ms. Giles has found success through her long-term service at the Mountain West Medical Center, where she has worked since 1991. In addition to her excellent performance as an emergency room nurse, she has served as an accreditation manager since 2014. Among her duties, she pulls data, audits patient charts, and ensures that nurses under her oversight are performing to expectations. In honor of her accomplishments, Ms. Giles was hailed by Mountain West Medical Center as its Employee of the Year in 2020. Looking toward the future, she hopes to remain active with the hospital and expand the scope of operations there to encompass enhanced trauma services. 

Ms. Giles first studied nursing at the Salt Lake Nursing Academy, after which she went on to attend Western Governors University, from which she received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Nursing. Well-qualified in her field, she has also been designated as a certified nursing assistant, a critical care tech, and an emergency medical technician. 

Outside of her primary endeavors at Mountain West, Ms. Giles has distinguished herself as the owner of the Dance Attitude studio, where she has taught ballet for more than 35 years. Among her most notable accomplishments, she is particularly proud to have taught generations of students how to dance – most especially her own grandchildren. In accounting for her success, Ms. Giles credits the influence of her parents, who instilled in her a diligent work ethic.
