In preparation for her career, Ms. Ogunyemi earned a diploma from Queen’s College in Lagos, Nigeria, in 2001. In 2007, she earned an associate degree in pre-pharmacy and pre-nursing studies at Harry S. Truman College with the City Colleges of Chicago, and in 2013, she graduated from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville with a Bachelor of Science in health education. Ms. Ogunyemi concluded her higher education at Grand Canyon University in 2018, earning a Master of Science in Nursing.
Alongside her primary roles, Ms. Ogunyemi authored “Team Work and Service Learning in an Intercultural Community” in 2013. For her professional accomplishments, she earned an award for achievements and accomplishments as a student government secretary from Harry S. Truman College. She contributes to her community by donating money and clothing to nonprofit organizations. In her spare time, Ms. Ogunyemi enjoys spending time with her children.
