Since 2021, Ms. Tsosie has served Pueblo Community College as a professor in nursing. Prior to this position, she served as a charge nurse at the Sharmar Village Senior Care Community in Pueblo, Colorado, until her retirement from nursing. In preparation for her career, Ms. Tsosie earned an associate degree at a community college. Alongside her work as a nurse and educator, she is also a published poet.

Ms. Tsosie has donated to the International Society of Poets and received multiple awards for her poetry. She attributes her success to her belief in God and considers helping others her greatest professional achievement. In the coming years, Ms. Tsosie hopes to return to nursing and continue helping people.
