Desiring to offer the best quality of urgent health care service, Ms. de Grouchy received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgetown University in 1979 and a Master of Science in healthcare administration from Towson University in 1991. Notably, since 2012, she has excelled as director of regulatory compliance for Johns Hopkins Community Physicians in Maryland. In her role, she provides professional oversight of entity regulatory compliance, policies, the environment of care, infection control, occupational health and lab services. Ms. de Grouchy is particularly interested in evolving ambulatory healthcare functions and infection control with a focus on future alignment of healthcare delivery services. Prior, she served the John Hopkins Bayview Medical Center as director of regulatory affairs from 2000 to 2011, in which she received a Leadership Award and was named Clinical Manager of the Year in 2006.
A registered nurse, Ms. de Grouchy is also certified in health care quality management by the American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians as of 2018. Presently, she maintains affiliation with the Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology, the Maryland and DC Society for Healthcare Risk Management and Infection Control and the Maryland Public Health Association, of which she is a former vice president. She is also active with her local church. Looking back on her illustrious career, she has most enjoyed facilitating and streamlining policies, procedures and processes within the freestanding ambulatory setting. In five years’ time, Ms. de Grouchy aspires to help telemedicine grow to provide the best quality of healthcare service to those who cannot reach clinics or hospitals. She also hopes to provide her expertise and high quality of knowledge to the next generation of medical professionals. In her spare time, Ms. de Grouchy enjoys gardening, crocheting and rowing.
