With more than 30 years of professional experience, Ms. Aldy was a bakery clerk with Safeway from 1996 to 2018. Prior to obtaining this role, she retired as a nurse aide and certified restorative nurse aide with University Hills Christian Living Campus from 1993 to 1996, a nurse aide with Julia Temple Center from 1992 to 1994, and a nurse aide with Brentwood Care Center from 1990 to 1992. From 1990 to 1991, she was a home health aide with Swedish Home Health Care, and from 1988 to 1990 she was a preschool teacher with South Wadsworth Baptist Church. Earlier in her career, she was a residential living specialist with Marin Luther Homes from 1987 to 1988, having been a skills developer and outreach assistant with Holistic Approaches to Independent Living since 1986.
Ms. Aldy was inspired to pursue a career in the field at an early age by her mother, who had been her grandparents’ caretaker. She learned the value of caring for elders and wanted to continue doing so in her own life. She first earned a Bachelor of Science in human services from Metropolitan State College of Denver, and she is certified in homes health care and as a nurse aid by the Emily Griffith Opportunity School. For her contributions, she has been featured in Who’s Who in American Nursing and Who’s Who in Medicine and Healthcare.
