Beginning as a wellness concierge in 2024, she quickly became a clinical specialist. Additionally, Ms. Dickey has served as the chief executive officer and online health coach at Brain Wellness Solutions since 2022, where she focuses on neurological concerns. Beginning her career as a registered nurse at the University of Minnesota Medical Center in 2002, she has continuously progressed, earning roles as a nurse practitioner at several health care facilities and working as a neurohospitalist at the Midwest Spine & Brain Institute. Additionally, Ms. Dickey is an experienced educator who taught nursing at Mercy College of Health Sciences and Rasmussen College.

Highly educated in preparation for her career in health care, Ms. Dickey received an Associate Degree in Nursing from Anoka-Ramsey Community College in 2002, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Metropolitan State University in 2004, and a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Minnesota in 2006. She also holds credentials as a certified neuroscience registered nurse, stroke certified registered nurse and family nurse practitioner. These added designations have been instrumental in her continuing advancements in her field. Moreover, Ms. Dickey is a member of several industry-related organizations, including the American Nurses Association, the American Academy of Neurology, and the American Association of Nurse Practitioners.

Besides her educational accomplishments, Ms. Dickey authored a book on migraine treatment, “Migraine Help from a Unicorn Nurse Practitioner,” followed by “Welcome Back: A TBI Recovery Story from Provider to Patient.” She also hosts “Brain Wellness – the Podcast,” which includes interviews with experts in the field and individuals who have faced various neurological and mental health challenges. Ms. Dickey’s remarkable success in nursing included developing an innovative outpatient stroke management plan as a nurse practitioner. She was also recognized with a Women of Armor Personal Growth Award, three Top Nurse Practitioner Awards and a Faculty Excellence Award. Her expertise in neurology, strokes, migraines and concussions has been pivotal to her ongoing success. In the coming years, Ms. Dickey envisions establishing a specialized concussion clinic dedicated to the care and recovery of individuals who have experienced traumatic brain injuries.
