Active in higher education for over 15 years, she came from West Coast University in Anaheim, California, where she served as an assistant professor from 2013 to 2018, and Mountain View College in Dallas as a faculty member in the associate degree of nursing program between 2007 and 2013.

Becoming highly educated to support her career endeavors, Dr. Bravo received a Bachelor of Science in nursing from Baylor University, a Master of Science in nursing with a focus on nursing administration from the University of Texas at Arlington, and a Doctor of Philosophy in general psychology with a focus on integrating technology, learning and psychology from Grand Canyon University. She also received a designation as a registered nurse. Besides her professional and educational accomplishments, Dr. Bravo is a professional member of the National League for Nursing, the American Nurses Association and the American Psychological Association, which enable her to remain at the forefront of her field. She also volunteers in her community through her church and local public elementary school.

Dr. Bravo’s career success was recognized with the Most Innovative Award 2016. Grateful for her professional accomplishments, she draws fulfillment in the long-term impact of her efforts, particularly in the gratitude expressed by her students. Dr. Bravo credits her success to being a risk-taker, embracing challenges and striving for a work-life balance. Enthusiastic about the future, she intends to continue working and hopes to never stop learning. Education has always been critically important and something she values significantly.
