With an esteemed career spanning several decades, Ms. Quintero has excelled as a population health management nurse at Saint Alphonsus Medical Group in Idaho since 2016. Demonstrating her expertise in patient care and population health, she is responsible for managing the health of populations by focusing on preventive care and chronic disease management in this position, which has been instrumental in improving patient outcomes. Prior to her current position, she worked as a registered nurse at Malheur County Health Department in Ontario, Oregon from 1999 to 2015, a forensic nurse examiner at the STAR Center in Ontario from 2001 to 2003, and a registered nurse care manager at Southcentral Foundation in Wasilla, Alaska in 2015. Ms. Quintero began her career as a correctional nurse at SRCI from 1997 to 1999, where she provided medical care to incarcerated individuals. 

Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Quintero obtained her certification as a nursing assistant in 1991. She subsequently pursued a formal education at Treasure Valley Community College, from which she earned an Associate of Science in Nursing in 1994. She concluded her academic efforts at Boise State University in 2018, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Furthermore, Ms. Quintero has contributed to nursing professionals on the other side of the classroom as an adjunct nursing instructor at Saint Alphonsus Medical Group and as a nursing instructor at Treasure Valley Community College.

Ms. Quintero attributes her success to her deep sense of empathy and compassion, qualities that have allowed her to connect with patients on a personal level. Her dedication to advocacy ensures that patients receive the best possible care. Looking toward the future, she hopes to maximize her influence on the lives of her patients by continuing to provide exceptional care while exploring innovative treatment methods. Driven by her passion for teaching and empowering others, Ms. Quintero likewise aspires to eventually transition into an educator role where she can share her extensive knowledge with future leaders in the field of medicine and the next generation of healthcare professionals.
