Reflecting on her path, the highlight of Ms. Chalmers’ career was being able to overcome numerous obstacles as an immigrant. Her journey began with mastering the English language to access college-level classes, eventually financing her own education. Additionally, following her passion for aiming higher and never settling for the status quo, she stepped outside the traditional nine-to-five job, and took on travel nursing assignments. She attributes her success to her unwavering resilience and determination to persevere in the face of adversity. In the coming years, she is determined to further her education and is also looking forward to increasing her involvement in charity work and volunteering, particularly focusing on supporting the younger community.
