Ms. Wilson is an established health care professional who has devoted her career to nursing, a field she is deeply passionate about. Since 2022, she has been an account executive at Vital Care of Little Rock in Little Rock, Arkansas, an independently owned and operated specialty pharmacy and infusion center for hospitals and doctor’s offices, dedicated to providing the highest quality of service to patients. In her role, Ms. Wilson is responsible for various tasks, including making appointments with physicians’ offices, collaborating with doctors and staff members of specialty clinics, and attending sales meetings.
Ms. Wilson’s appreciation for the unique dynamics of the home infusion space, which combines sales, patient interaction, and patient teaching, was honed during her tenure at Coram Home Infusion. Since joining Vital Care of Little Rock, she has significantly contributed to its success and the growth of its team, which now includes six pharmacists and two account executives. Ms. Wilson’s efforts, including implementing a successful leaderboard and weekly sales calls to monitor progress, have been instrumental in the company’s success.
Leveraging over two decades of previous expertise, Ms. Wilson was a territory manager at BioDelivery Sciences International from 2019 to 2022, a clinical sales liaison at Coram CVS, Specialty Infusion Services, between 2016 and 2019, and a regional director of nursing at Wellpath from 2015 to 2016. Her previous 10 years in the field included roles as a nurse manager, patient care manager, specialty nurse and PICO staff nurse at various hospitals. Moreover, Ms. Wilson garnered success as a clinical informatics educator at CHI Saint Vincent.
In preparation for her future, Ms. Wilson received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2000 and a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock in 2010. Additionally, she received credentials as a registered nurse through the Arkansas State Board of Nursing in 2004.
Developing a passion for health care while coming of age, Ms. Wilson was the youngest of three siblings who saw firsthand the importance of caring for one another’s needs. As she grew older, she realized that nursing would offer her a wide range of opportunities in various niche areas of the field, setting her up for success.
Active in her professional community, Ms. Wilson is a member of the Immunoglobulin National Society. She also volunteers with various civic organizations, including the Nurses Honor Guard of South Carolina. Her commitment to these endeavors demonstrates her dedication to society’s well-being.
Grateful for her professional accomplishments, Ms. Wilson attributes her success to her highly educated parents, who instilled a strong work ethic and a proactive approach to accomplishing her goals. She is also a skilled communicator and listener, which are essential in the health care industry, particularly nursing.
In preparation for her future, Ms. Wilson aims to spend the next decade sustaining and building upon Vital Care’s remarkable growth and serving more communities throughout the state. She also envisions continued self-improvement. Furthermore, she is excited about possibly acquiring additional franchises and potentially taking on a leadership role as a regional director or director of marketing.
