Terry Lynne deAragon, registered nurse coach at Awaken Your Lioness Spirit, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Nurses for dedication, achievements, and leadership in health care.

With nearly two decades of experience, Ms. deAragon has built a successful career in nursing, specializing in trauma recovery and coaching. Since 2023, she has excelled as a registered nurse coach at Awaken Your Life Coaching and a registered nurse at UCHealth. In these roles, she provides affordable housing, mentoring, coaching, and trauma recovery services and actively serves in a halfway house, continuing her work to support women in the community. Her previous experience includes serving as a registered nurse at Fastaff, an Ingenovis Health Company from 2022 to 2023, and as a registered nurse at SCL Health, Intermountain Health, from 2007 to 2019. Additionally, she is a member of the American Holistic Nurses Association and has been dedicated as co-chair of the Nurse Practice Council at SCL Health, Intermountain Health, since 2016. She also volunteers as a leader in a recovery program at her church and with Project Elevate.

Laying a solid educational foundation, Ms. deAragon pursued an associate’s degree in registered nursing from Front Range Community College in 2007, a bachelor’s degree in registered nursing from Grand Canyon University in 2019, and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Purdue University Global. Her professional credentials include certification in nurse coaching from the American Holistic Nurses Association. In light of her impressive undertakings, she received the “Good as Gold” award from SCL Health, Intermountain Health, in both 2011 and 2015, and was honored as the Outstanding Career and Technical Student by Front Range Community College in 2007.

Ms. deAragon takes great pride in helping people and making a significant impact on their lives through her work. She attributes her success to the mentors who have guided her, her sense of responsibility, and her ability to learn from her experiences to create something different and positive in her life. In the coming years, she aims to advance her nursing career by becoming a behavioral health nurse practitioner, integrating her expertise in coaching with her nursing practice. After completing her bachelor’s degree in nursing, she plans to continue pursuing her education to attain a Master of Science in Nursing and certification as a psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner. In her personal life, she enjoys personal development, participating in church activities, and spending quality time with her family.
