She worked as a registered nurse case manager at WellPoint from 2009 to 2010.
Ms. Clemons-Black continued her career as a registered nurse with Correction Medical Services from 2013 to 2016. She has established herself as a clinical educator at Syneos Health Clinical Solutions since 2016. She was active as a long-term care nurse specialist at Fidelis Care from 2018 to 2022. At Planet Pharma, she garnered a stellar reputation as a clinical research nurse from 2022 to 2023.
Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Clemons-Black pursued an education at Sage College of Albany where she earned an associate of science in legal studies in 1999. She continued her academic efforts at Hudson Valley Community College, obtaining an associate degree in registered nursing in 2007. She concluded her studies at Chamberlain University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing as a registered nurse in 2023. She holds certifications from the American Heart Association, the Massachusetts Board of Nursing, the Connecticut Board of Nursing, the Vermont Board of Nursing, and the New York State Board of Nursing.
Beyond her responsibilities within the field, Ms. Clemons-Black has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her professional circles. She contributed to the Clinical Field Force Steering Committee at Syneos Health and the Nursing Clinical Practice Committee. She donated to various charities including the Street Warriors and Unity Health.
