Leveraging more than 25 years of professional experience, Ms. Le’s journey in the healthcare industry is defined by resilience and unwavering determination. She arrived in California at the age of 28 as a political refugee, facing formidable challenges, including language barriers and difficult living conditions. Undeterred, she took on various roles, from working at fast food and retail chains to serving as a hospital janitor, all while pursuing her education. Within five years, Ms. Le earned her Bachelor of Science in nursing from San Francisco State University in 1997.
Ms. Le commenced her nursing career in 1998 as a transitional care unit registered nurse in the intensive care unit at Alexian Brothers Hospital. She then transitioned to roles in the emergency department at Kaiser and specialized in trauma and orthopedics at John Muir Health, showcasing her versatility and adaptability. Continuing her journey, she served as a telephone nurse adviser and cardiology nurse at Palo Alto Medical Foundation from 1999 to 2003.
From 2005 to 2016, Ms. Le dedicated herself to various roles at the Surgery Center of Fremont, Palo Alto Medical Foundation. She also took on roles as a registered nurse and moderate sedation registered nurse at endoscope centers with Sutter Health. Over the past decade, she has focused on gastroenterology, serving as a gastroenterology registered nurse at the Fremont Surgery Center from 2016 to 2020.
Ms. Le’s leadership journey began in 2020 when she joined the Advanced Surgery Center in San Jose, California, as a clinical manager. Recognized for her dedication and expertise, she was promoted to director of nursing services in 2023. In her current role, she oversees all nursing operations, from hiring and training programs to supervising staff members and coordinating with healthcare providers. Ms. Le’s motivation to enter the medical field stems from her genuine desire to help those in need, particularly underserved communities with language barriers. Looking toward the future, she aims to transition into education and provide mentorship and encouragement to the younger generation of medical professionals.
