He earned his bachelor’s degree in registered nursing from Washington State University in 2016. Prior to that, he obtained an associate degree in arts and sciences from Columbia Basin College in 2011, and an associate’s degree in applied science in nursing from the same institution in 2007.

Certified as a heart failure nurse by the American Associate of Heart Failure Nurses and in Progressive Care Nursing by the American Association of Critical Care Nurses since 2019, Mr. Lampton is committed to maintaining the highest standards of care in his field. Beyond his professional responsibilities, he has made notable contributions to the healthcare community. As a travel nurse, he took a transformative journey to Cambodia, where he spent three months teaching at a hospital, focusing on cardiac monitoring and EKG interpretation. His efforts culminated in training a group of nurses who would continue to mentor future healthcare professionals in the country.

Looking ahead, Mr. Lampton envisions expanding his involvement with organizations such as the Heart Failure Nurses Association and the Heart Failure Society of America. With aspirations to earn his PhD, he also aims to play a pivotal role in the advancement of Cambodia’s healthcare system. Throughout his journey, he attributes his success to his guiding philosophy of “doing the next right thing” and the unwavering support of his family, friends, and colleagues.
