With 12 years of experience to her credit, Ms. Dahl has excelled as RN III-CTICU at the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles since 2016. She is currently serving as a charge nurse, resource nurse, and bedside nurse at the Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit. Her primary responsibility is to provide immediate post-operative care to patients who have undergone cardiac surgery. This includes providing interventions, communicating with the residents, and attending physicians, and ensuring that patients receive the best care possible. As a registered nurse, she contributed to the Thousand Oaks Healthcare Center from 2013 to 2014 and Encino Hospital Medical Center from 2013 to 2016.
Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Dahl pursued an education at Moorpark College, where she earned an associate of science in nursing in 2011. She continued her academic efforts at the University of Texas at Arlington, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2015. She is currently pursuing coursework towards a Master of Science in leadership and management at Western Governors University. She holds certifications from the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses, the California Board of Registered Nursing, and the American Heart Association.
In addition to her primary vocation, Ms. Dahl remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise. She was a member of the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses. She attributes her success to her determination and refusal to give up. She loves her children and is grateful for them. Being a mother makes her a better nurse for the parents she interacts with in her unit, allowing her to relate to them on a deeper level.
Ms. Dahl’s most notable achievement is excelling and growing within her unit and confidently advocating for and caring for her patients. She is not afraid to stand up for what she believes in and will do whatever it takes to ensure their safety and well-being. In the immediate future, she plans to complete her master’s degree and explore opportunities for career advancement. She aspires to take on a supervisory role with the goal of climbing the career ladder and achieving professional growth.
