Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Jensen pursued an education at Pensacola Christian College where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2010 and a Master of Science in Nursing in 2012. She is a certified medical-surgical registered nurse through the Academy of Medical-Surgical Nurses’ medical-surgical nursing certification board in 2015. Beyond her responsibilities within the field, she has participated in numerous endeavors outside of her professional circles. She has been a foster parent since 2014 and has temporarily housed 29 children to date.
In addition to her primary vocation, Ms. Jensen remains affiliated with various organizations in relation to her areas of expertise. She was a member of the Oncology Nursing Society and the Medical Surgical Nursing Certification Board. In light of her impressive undertakings, she has accrued several accolades throughout her career. She was presented with a Nursing Leadership Award from Mary Washington Healthcare in 2018.
