With years of experience to her credit, Dr. Green has excelled with the Orlando Veterans Affairs Medical Center as a registered nurse since 2016 and the nursing officer of the day since 2022. She has been additionally active as a nursing administrative supervisor at Indian River Medical Center since 2015. Moreover, she served as a site administrator at the Rockledge Regional Medical Center from 2016 to 2021. Dr. Green began her career as a registered nurse at the Holmes Regional Hospital between 2010 and 2016.
Before embarking on her professional path, Dr. Green pursued an education at Emmanuel College, from which she earned a Bachelor of Science in biology in 2004. She continued her academic efforts with a Bachelor of Science in nursing education at New York Institute of Technology in 2008 and a Master of Science in Nursing at Keiser University in 2014. She concluded her studies at Chamberlain University in 2022, proudly graduating with a Doctor of Nursing Practice, summa cum laude. Attributing her success to her discipline, hard work, research and remaining current with evidence-based practices, Dr. Green hopes to advance to become the chief nurse at the Orlando Veterans Affairs Medical Center prior to her retirement.
