Stacy J. H. McRae, RN, DoN, a clinical development coordinator at Western Home Communities, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Nurses for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of nursing.

Drawing inspiration from the connections she has formed with various patients, Ms. McRae has distinguished herself in her role as a clinical development coordinator at Western Home Communities, a charitable Christian service organization that seeks to offer elderly clients a fulfilling and independent quality of life. Specializing in elder care, Ms. McRae is responsible for assessing and managing the needs of tenants, as well as providing administrative oversight for staff nurses. Driven by a deep and abiding sense of duty and compassion, she previously found success as a registered nurse for Foothills Community Health Care between 2014 and 2015, having begun her career as a certified nurse aide and emergency medical technician. Likewise dedicated to civic advocacy, she serves as the president of the Friends of the Jesup Public Library.  

Ms. McRae’s first attended the University of Iowa during the early 2000s, earning a Bachelor of Arts in history in 2003. Many years later, she returned to receive a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2021. Motivated by a longstanding enthusiasm for learning, as well as providing the best possible service on behalf of her tenants, she has remained diligent about pursuing further training, and strives to remain abreast of the latest research and developments in the field. In accounting for her overall success, Ms. McRae largely credits her uncommon sense of tenacity, as well as her ability to establish an excellent rapport with her patients.
