Among the highlights of her career, she is incredibly proud of establishing the neonatal transition program for labor and delivery with CHI St. Luke’s Health in 2001. Looking toward the future, Ms. Chavez hopes to continue working in bedside nursing, providing the best quality of nursing care possible, stabilizing babies in labor and delivery while in the operating room and eventually shifting her attention to the field of real estate following her well-deserved retirement.
