Since 2022, Ms. Jones has excelled as a Registered Nurse Injector with Skin Technology Medical Esthetics running her business Aesthetic Injections, LLC. This company provides a variety of services, including skin rejuvenation and remodeling treatments, cosmetic injections, laser hair removal, body contouring and vitamin therapies, among others. Since 2021, she has worked as a registered nurse at Prime IV Hydration and Wellness. Janessa specializes in Botox, neurotoxins, dermal fillers, facial threading, as well as biorestorative measures to minimize the effects of facial aging.
Prior to her current positions, from 2018 to 2022, she was a Registered Nurse for StarKids Pediatric Home Health aiding children transition from the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and into the comfort of their own home. In 2020, she was a Registered Nurse at Intermountain Healthcare working in the Operating Room. In the early months of 2020 Ms. Jones finished her orientation and the pandemic plagued shortly thereafter. Ms. Jones was removed from the Operating Room and redeployed to the Emergency Department to frontline throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. This was not the introduction to healthcare that was planned but it gave a sound foundation throughout the rest of her career. Ms. Jones garnered experience as a Registered Nurse Injector at BeautifulU Medical Spa from 2020 to 2022 putting her in contact with many representatives throughout the medical aesthetics industry. The high exposure allowed her to excel and perfect her craft quickly, which would allow her to expand into her own business two years later. Alongside her primary endeavors, Ms. Jones is a church volunteer for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She finds firm footing in the church and finds that it is what can frequently ground her while navigating the progression of personal and business ventures. .
In preparation for her career, Ms. Jones attended Salt Lake Community College, graduating with an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing, with high honors, in December 2019. She continued her higher education at Dixie State University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, with high honors, in 2020. Ms. Jones is currently attending United States University, where she is pursuing a Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner degree and will finish in the fall of 2024.
Ms. Jones attributes her success to her positive outlook, upbringing, and unparalleled examples she finds in her family. She became involved in her career because she always wanted to work with patients, build relationships and administer care. Among her accomplishments, she considers being the youngest student in her Master’s program to be her most significant achievement thus far. In her spare time, Ms. Jones enjoys going to the gym, traveling with her husband and dog, attending church, hiking, boating and most of all spending time with her close-knit family. In the coming years, she plans to complete her degree program and hopes to become a medical director for her current employers. She also plans to branch into more of the entrepreneurial realm to help injectors gain in-clinic experience through shadowing and internships. This will help more injectors gain proper training and education to practice medical esthetics safely and effectively. She would also like to take on more in the realm of health and wellness consulting to help the population live healthier lives through natural methods. Ensuring preventative care and measures to reduce the severity and effect of disease later in life. She would also like to expand later in life into business coaching to help other medical professionals to do the same. Traditional healthcare is great and has a place in the world; however, she believes it could look much different and help vast amounts of people and professionals to achieve a better work-life balance that will help the longevity and quality of their lives. Functional medicine has great interest to her, and she wants to expand her knowledge into that sector of heathcare addressing the root causes of disease.
