Well-regarded for its dedication to individualized treatment, the clinic offers patients of all ages a plethora of leisurely and therapeutic activities that are sure to improve the quality of life of those who participate. As a leading member of the staff, Ms. Rocha oversees numerous aspects of the clinic and its daily operations, including finances, patient care, and the nursing staff. To wit, she herself is a registered nurse (RN) and a certified nurse manager and leader (CNML).

Ms. Rocha originally joined Cedar Crest in 2019 as a nurse manager and infection preventionist. Prior to joining the clinic, she operated as a nurse manager at the Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Temple, Texas, part of Baylor Scott White Health, from 2013 to 2018. She originally joined the center in 2000 as a charge nurse and designated unit preceptor, and in 2008, she took on the role of transplant nurse coordinator. Mr. Rocha also worked with Heritage Care Hospice as a hospice case manager in 2008.

Before embarking on her vocational journey, Ms. Rocha pursued a formal education, beginning with her time at Central Texas College, where she earned an Associate of Science in Nursing in 1999. After beginning her, she subsequently continued her studies at The University of Texas at Arlington College of Nursing and Health Innovation, achieving a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2016 and a Master of Science in Nursing in 2019. To remain abreast of developments within her field, Ms. Rocha also remains affiliated with several industry-related organizations, including the American Nurses Association and the executive committee at Cedar Crest Hospital & Residential Treatment Center. Outside of her primary professional endeavors, she also continues to participate as a volunteer in the Special Olympics.

To commemorate her accomplishments in the field, Ms. Rocha was honored by Baylor Scott White Health with the Excellent Preceptor Award in 2005 and the Excellent Leadership Award in 2017. In light of her fulfilling career, she has largely attributed her success to her humility and willingness to continue learning. Having held a sincere passion for caring for others since she was young, she was inspired to pursue a career in nursing by her aunt. Furthermore, she is especially mindful of the importance of maintaining one’s mental health, as well as physical and emotional health. Looking to the future, Ms. Rocha hopes to become the chief executive officer at a hospital or her own nursing institution.
