Debra Doris Dolph, BSN, RN, Registered Nurse and Retention Specialist at FORTIS College – Columbus, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Nurses for dedication, achievements, and leadership in nursing education.

In preparation for her career, Ms. Dolph attended Indiana University Kokomo and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2000. She went on to earn her Registered Nurse and Licensed Practical Nurse Instructor certifications, and since 2022, she has served as a registered nurse and retention specialist with FORTIS College – Columbus. Since 2019, Ms. Dolph has been a nursing instructor at the same institution, and since 2018, she has contributed her expertise as a registered nurse and call center triage nurse with IHA. From 2013 to 2019, she garnered experience as a nursing instructor for the Hondros College of Nursing, and from 2009 to 2013, she worked in the same capacity for Brown Mackie College. She began her career as a clinical coordinator of urology, surgical, and clinical service for the Wishard Trauma Center from 2010 to 2012.

Ms. Dolph has been recognized for her achievements with a National Teaching Award and a Shining Star Award from FORTIS College in 2021. To keep abreast of her field, she maintains membership in the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing and the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society. Ms. Dolph’s areas of expertise include case management, nursing education, and geriatric nursing. In her post with FORTIS College – Columbus, she works with LPN nursing students and helps them adjust to nursing school and campus life. She meets with students one-on-one weekly to give them advice as needed. In her spare time, Ms. Dolph enjoys going to the movies and spending time with her husband and their two dogs.
