Leveraging over 30 years of experience, Ms. Spearman has cultivated a career of excellence in the field of nursing. Since 2021, she has operated as a registered nurse and operating room supervisor at the Baylor University Medical Center, having originally joined as an operating room registered nurse in 2015. She also serves the institution as a weekend chaos coordinator. Prior to her current appointment, she was the director of surgical services at the Dallas Regional Medical Center from 2013 to 2015. Having operated as a nurse with various hospitals and clinics over the course of her career, Ms. Spearman originally began her career in 1990, working as a charge nurse at the San Angelo Community Hospital until 1996.

As part of her vocational journey, Ms. Spearman pursued a formal education at Texas Woman’s University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing in 2009 and a Master of Business Administration in 2012. Furthermore, she became a fully licensed registered nurse in 2015, and she remains affiliated with the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN). She is also certified in pediatric advanced life support and advanced cardiac life support. In the coming years, Ms. Spearman hopes to earn a veterinary degree and become a full-time nursing assistant.
