To keep abreast of developments in her field, she maintains membership with the Healing Hands Foundation and Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc.
Ms. Barber is the author of a book of poetry titled “Penelope’s Purple Passion,” and in her spare time, she enjoys traveling, writing, and lifting. A lifelong athlete, she has even earned second place in multiple fitness competitions, including the World’s Strongest Woman. In the coming years, she hopes to compete in the Arnold’s Strongman Classic, publish her second book, and grow as an author. Ms. Barber also hopes to become one of the leading published poets.
