In her current posts, she handles duties including medication administration, artificial feedings, and wound care, among other responsibilities. She became involved in health care because of her innate compassion and desire to care for others. Additionally, her entire family works in the medical profession.

Among her career highlights, Ms. Kruglov is especially proud of receiving multiple awards and accolades in recognition of her excellence in her profession. She has been the recipient of four Best Employee of the Month Awards from the West Haven VA Medical Center, as well as an Employee of the Quarter Award, and a Kindness Award. Additionally, Ms. Kruglov was nominated for the Nightingale Award in 2022.

Ms. Kruglov attended Southern Connecticut State University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in public health in 2020. Prior to this degree, she earned certifications in wound care, phlebotomy, and CPR, in addition to becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse in 2008 at Eli Whitney Technical High School. Alongside her primary professional pursuits, Ms. Kruglov has contributed her time and talents as a volunteer nurse at multiple hospitals.

Ms. Kruglov has a personal connection to health care, as she has lost many family members to cancer and witnessed firsthand the hardships that illness can bring upon individuals and their families. She even served as the caregiver for her ailing family members over the years, helping her to realize her passion for nursing. In the coming years, Ms. Kruglov hopes to continue working as a professional nurse until her eventual retirement, and additionally aims to involve herself in academia or research.
