She later followed with a Bachelor of Science in business management from DeVry University in Downers Grove, Illinois in 2021.

Ms. Adams has provided superior care as a registered nurse for nearly two decades, with Lompoc Valley Medical Center from 2004 to 2017, Global Personnel Inc. in Ventura from 2017 to 2018 and Maxim Healthcare in San Luis Obispo from 2018 to the present. Her responsibilities have included overseeing patient admission and discharge, administering scheduled medications and therapies, monitoring and recording patient conditions, immunizations and maintaining quality care systems and standards. Additionally, she has coordinated care with physicians and other clinical staff to prepare for treatment, carry out interventions and enhance continuum of care to deliver comprehensive services and Instructed patients, caregivers and families on diagnoses, treatment options and self-management to maintain continuity of care. For her excellence in patient care, Ms. Adams was named employee of the quarter by Maxim Healthcare in 2020 and 2021.

Ms. Adams became involved in her profession because of her passion to help others and to take care of them. What appealed to her the most about the profession, particularly in the home health arena, is the opportunity to get to know and be acquainted with her patients, as well as establishing a good relationship with them. As a career highlight, Ms. Adams cites receiving her registered nurse credential in 1999. She also prides herself on being able to help others and make a difference in their lives through her work in the nursing field. In the coming years, Ms. Adams hopes to continue her work as a registered nurse in home health and hopes to further advance in her career in the field.
