Taking an interest in nursing from a young age, Dr. Adereti often played the role of the caretaker in her family and desired to utilize her strengths professionally. After receiving an Associate’s degree in nursing in 2007, she went on to matriculate at Tennessee State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2009 and a Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurses Practitioner in 2014. In 2020, Dr. Adereti was awarded her Doctor of Nursing Practice by the University of Texas at El Paso. To add to her feats, she is a certified nursing assistant by the American Red Cross, a licensed practical nurse, registered nurse and nurse practitioner.
Dr. Adereti is the owner and founder of Alice Place Health Care Services LLC and Alice Place Medical Care Services PLLC, where she maintains her practice. Devoted to offering different options for those needing care, she spearheaded this endeavor to offer a convenient and affordable alternative for patients to help meet their personal and long-term health goals. Between 2015 and 2018, Dr. Adereti was a family nurse practitioner with Patient Place Urgent Care and the University Medical Center of El Paso. She has also been involved with El Paso del Norte Organization since 2020.
To remain abreast of her industry, Dr. Adereti is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Association, Texas Nurses Association and National Association of Nigerian Nurse Practitioners USA, Dallas-Fort Worth. She is also involved with the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing Delta Kappa Chapter, the Golden Key International Honor Society and the Society for Collegiate Leadership and Achievement. Dr. Adereti attributes her success to her tenacity and perseverance, noting that the highlight of her career was finishing her doctoral degree during the COVID-19 pandemic. Looking ahead, her goal is to continue to expand her business in healthcare.
