Long dedicated to civic advocacy, Ms. Arden has found success as a partner at SSTARbirth, a long-term residential substance abuse treatment program that specifically caters to pregnant, postpartum and parenting women. In a career suffused with highlights, she is most proud to have presented before the organization staff on the subject of infection control and sanitation. For her efforts, Ms. Arden was recognized by the University of Rhode Island for providing personal protective equipment, and was featured by URI Today in an article regarding her work in collecting thousands of N-95 masks for front line health workers during the COVID-19 pandemic.

As a commitment to her field, Ms. Arden has been active with several pertinent organizations. Among them, she is a member of the Nurse Practitioner Association of Rhode Island, the American Nursing Association, the International Nursing Society and the honorable society of Sigma Theta Tau. Outside of her vocational circles, Ms. Arden is an avid equestrian, and serves as the head coach and licensed instructor for the University of Massachusetts Equestrian Team.
