Timothy W. Brooks, Registered Nurse at Methodist Health Systems, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Nurses for dedication, achievements, and leadership in nursing.
Mr. Brooks became involved in his profession because he wanted to provide a service to others. Before embarking on his career path, he earned an Associate of Arts in criminal justice from Metropolitan Community College. He then matriculated at Nebraska Wesleyan University, receiving a Bachelor of Arts in nursing and a Master of Arts in leadership and management with the highest honors. Upon completion of his bachelor’s degree, he earned his nursing license in 2011.
Since 2020, Mr. Brooks has been a registered nurse with Methodist Health Systems. He was previously a floor nurse and coordinator for education and staff development with Emmanuel Health Systems from 2011 to 2020. In his spare time, he volunteers as a teacher of CPR for Emmanuel Health Systems. Mr. Brooks spent 26 years with the U.S. Air Force in Anti-Terrorism Security before going into nursing. As a testament to his success, Mr. Brooks was inducted as a member of the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association, Theta Sigma Tau, and the Student Nurse Association at Nebraska Wesleyan University.
