Amy E. Sprayberry, a Registered Nurse, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Nurses for dedication, achievements, and leadership in nursing.
Growing up, Ms. Sprayberry had a traumatic experience when she was 13 years old. It left such an impression on her all her life that she decided at that age that she wanted to become a nurse and take care of others. Prior to the start of her illustrious career, Ms. Sprayberry earned an Associate of Science from West Central Technical College in 2003. Ten years later, she received an Associate of Applied Science in nursing from Meridian Community College. Currently, Ms. Sprayberry is completing coursework at Walden University with the intention of obtaining a Master of Science by 2022.
A licensed registered nurse, Ms. Sprayberry has excelled as a psychiatric nurse with Floyd Medical Center in Rome, Georgia, since 2018. Additionally, she has flourished as a medical-surgical registered nurse with Redmond Regional Medical Center since 2017. Prior to these appointments, she served as a charge nurse and a neuro registered nurse for Mississippi Baptist Health Systems Inc., and Cherokee Medical Center, respectively. Earlier in her career, Ms. Sprayberry worked as a registered nurse for South Central Regional Medical Center and as a field nurse for the Mississippi State Veterans Home, between 2008 and 2013.
For her accomplishments in the field, Ms. Sprayberry was honored by the National Society of Leadership and Success at Walden University in 2020. She attributes her success to her dedication to people. In five years, Ms. Sprayberry wants to be a psychiatric nurse practitioner.
