Denille Dillabough, Nurse at Massena Memorial Hospital, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Nurses for dedication, achievements, and leadership in Healthcare.
A leading expert in the field of healthcare, Ms. Dillabough has served as a nurse in the newborn nursery ICU and emergency room at Massena Memorial Hospital. In addition to her primary role, she has also been active as a nursing supervisor with the organization, as well as the founding director of infection control, perinatal services and central sterile supplies. Ms. Dillabough was also instrumental in initiating bioterrorism surveillance following the events of September 11, 2001, as well as helping to advance the causes of hygiene and the use of protective devices and apparel.
Ms. Dillabough initially pursued an education with the Massena School of Practical Nursing, where she obtained a diploma in 1971. She continued her studies with Jacksonville University, completing coursework toward a Bachelor of Science in nursing. She later joined Regents College, earning an Associate of Science in Nursing. Likewise, Ms. Dillabough is a member of the New York State Nurses Association and the Association for Professionals in Infectious Control.
