Title: Critical Care Nurse
Location: Sebastian, Florida, United States
Ann Kessler Sinoply, Critical Care Nurse, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Nurses for dedication, achievements, and leadership in the field of critical care.
Coming from a family of nurses, Ms. Sinoply always knew what career she wanted to pursue. With the goal of becoming a nurse in mind, she attended the University of Pittsburgh and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in health-related professions in 1991. After earning the necessary qualifications, Ms. Sinoply began working at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Jonestown, Pennsylvania. She worked there as a practical nurse for three years. After that, she went into the United States Navy. During her time on active duty, she held many positions, one of which was working on the medical team that developed the meningitis vaccine. Though it was challenging, Ms. Sinoply regards her time in the Navy as an ultimately rewarding and beneficial experience.
After leaving active duty, Ms. Sinoply relocated to the intensive care unit at Indian River Memorial Hospital in Vero Beach, Florida, where she acted as both a practical and charge nurse. She stayed there until she stopped working in 2013. While her career has been full of success, Ms. Sinoply regards her greatest accomplishments to be marrying her husband and having her children. Her professional success, however, has been highlighted with features in the 21st and 25th edition of Who’s Who of American Women, and she was awarded the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019.
