Today, she finds success as a reinsurance nurse risk case manager at IOA RE. In this role, she projects risk for a book of business regarding their health insurers by researching through data feeds, reports, and vendor integration. She came into this role in 2018 after serving as a clinical account manager lead for Blue Cross Blue Shield, where she led conversations on clinical innovation and intervened to manage the level of risks and costs for the insured and high-cost claimants. Other noteworthy roles held in Ms. Bizri’s career include manager of risk for the clinical department at HealthEZ, medical clinical case manager at The Hartford, senior charge registered nurse of medical data coordination at the Golden Living Center, and certified nurse assistant for Volunteers of America. To date, Ms. Bizri’s greatest career achievement has been in the innovation of pushing forward with documentation sharing through insurers and expanding new document availability.
Ms. Bizri felt drawn to the nursing field due to the influence of her mother, Carol Ingles, who is also a registered nurse. To prepare for her career, she earned an Associate of Science in nursing from Anoka-Ramsey Community College followed by a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the College of St. Scholastica. She is a certified nurse accredited by Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College and holds a Transplant Care Certification through Interlink. To remain at the top of her field, Ms. Bizri is a member of the International Association of Nurses, Sigma Zeta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, and the International Nursing Summit Conference. As she looks to the future, Ms. Bizri intends to become more involved in the holistic side of nursing and insurance with the intention of building out a business in risk and insurance groups that provided holistic premiums for employers.
