Lynn Hite, ADNP Faculty, has been recognized by Marquis Who’s Who Top Nurses for dedication, achievements, and leadership in nursing.
Growing up and watching her mother work as a nurse resonated with Ms. Hite, who chose to become a nurse because of this. Her father was electrical engineer, who worked for the railroad, and with her parents support, she earned a Bachelor of Science in nursing from the University of Central Arkansas in 1982. She later received an MSN in nursing education from the University of Mississippi in 1991 to be able to share her knowledge and passion for the field with future nursing professionals.
Since 2016, Ms. Hite has served as an associate degree nursing program faculty at South East Arkansas College. She previously has contributed her abilities with the MS Blood Service, St. Dominic-Jackson Memorial Hospital, Baptist Hospital, Delta Medical Center, Pemiscott County Hospital and the Methodist Hospital. In these roles, she has been an emergency room staff nurse, a nurse of oncology, a supervisor, a charge nurse and IV therapist. Throughout her career, she maintained professional membership with the American Nurse’s Association and the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
