The longtime president of Children’s Memorial Home Health, Inc., and Children’s Memorial Nursing Services for 15 years, she has since been acting as the chief executive officer of Beechwood Health Solutions LLC since 2009.
To remain abreast of developments in the nursing industry, Ms. Hicks maintains affiliation with the American Organization of Nurse Executives, the Women’s Healthcare Executive Network, the Illinois Health and Hospital Association and the Economic Club of Chicago. In light of her exceptional undertakings, she has been the recipient of numerous accolades, most recently including the George Kennedy Distinguished Service Award from Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago in 2018 and the Esperanza Award from La Cata Norte from the Prevention of Homeless Children in 2017.
