Serving the Oklahoma City County Health Department for more than 15 years as an occupational health nurse, she holds a number of prominent responsibilities, including acting as a liaison with respect to immunizations for domestic and international travels and educating fellow employees on nursing health topics. An advocate for public health, she has made it her life’s mission to provide protection, education and awareness within her community to lessen the effects of communicable diseases and other illnesses.
Ms. Eufinger became involved in her profession due to her natural affinity for taking care of others, as she cared for her sick grandmother in her youth with an innate ease. Finding the most gratifying aspect of her career to be educating women and children on wellness, she takes pride in the knowledge that she has influenced myriad patients’ lives in a positive manner. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Oklahoma and is a Registered Nurse in the state of Oklahoma.
As a testament to her professional success, Ms. Eufinger has accrued several accolades. In 2010, she received the Lillian Wald Award for 25 Years of Exemplary Service in Nursing, and in 2009, she was presented with an Award for Contributing to the Field of Public Health by the Oklahoma Public Health Association. Looking toward the future, she intends to continue progressing in her field and impacting the lives of others with kindness.
